Aqualung . left this review about Hubs Place
This is an unusual pub as it was opened by a lottery winner and is just a few yards from the town Spoons.
It's a small modern bar with an L shaped main room, a black tiled floor and the small bar counter at the rear. There is also a room off to right at the back which can be booked for functions. The interior and fittings are clean and modern but the front part of the main bar has some red and white flock wallpaper making it look a bit like a 70s Indian Restaurant but knowing zilch about interior design maybe this is the latest fashion. This area a;so hosts a dart board.
The bar has only two hand pumps which on my visit had London Pride and Woodforde's Norfolk Champion. I went for the latter (£3.20) which was in excellent condition. This is a pub that I should have disliked with the modern decor and only two beers but it is a bit quirky and I quite enjoyed my brief visit. It's GBG 2016 listed.
