The Britannia was a proper old pub that was on a side street just off oldham road.
The pub looked quite nice from the outside with the lower half still having its brown tiles on.
Once inside there were a couple of small rooms and these were fairly basic.
The pub was a Tetley tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter and this was a nice drink the other beer was Tetley mild.
I quite liked this pub but sadly the pub and street have now been bulldozed.
Another Manchester pub consigned to history.
