E TA left this review about Hardy's Bar and Bistro
Re-branded as Hardy's, but only the name has changed. There is still no real ale, and the food is as good as ever it was. There is a decent wine selection still, but the bar continues to purvey the standard range of keg products. It's comfortable, warm and friendly, and it's a good place for a meal or snack or as a rendezvous before a proper crawl.

E TA left this review about Landers Bar and Steakhouse
Newly re-opened, Landers started as a private restaurant for the boat owners using the marina, but is now open to the public. A small, clean modern bar is at the front (the inside of the marina complex) while to the rear, the side near the road, is a larger dining area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was somewhat bistro-like. Clientele were a mix of age groups but much more civilised than some of the nearby pubs. Food was very good value for money, although the wine selection was limited. There was no real ale on, just the usual megakeg and lager offerings. Probably one of the better places to go for a quiet pint and a reasonable meal in the area, but lack of ale probably rules it out for a crawl.
