David Ross left this review about Potters
As hinted at by the name, this is a small lounge bar attached to a large snooker hall. It is open to the public, however, and you can just have a drink in it without playing snooker or requiring membership. It would be easy to miss it, as it's located up an alleyway off the main seaside road and isn't well signposted. A pint of Guinness cost me £3.50 and Caledonia Best, Magner's cider and Tennent's, Budweiser and Heverlee lagers are also on draught. The TVs in the lounge area were muted but showing football and music was playing at a tolerable level. Obviously, Potters is mainly sports orientated, but is a pleasant place for a quiet drink too.
