Not quite as old and original as it was when I last visited a few years ago, with TV screens, a juke box and games machines disturbing the once peaceful atmosphere. It retains something of an old fashioned feeling, however, with the original island bar and ceiling cornices still in place and a “traditional” looking barman serving beer at very reasonable prices.
