Alan Winfield left this review about The Fountain Inn

The Fountain Inn was a very basic pub that was just up the road from the Bradford Inn.
Once inside i went in the room at the front there may have been other rooms but i did'nt look, this room was fairly basic with normal tables and chairs.
The pub was a John Smiths tied house and there were no real ales on here i had a drink of keg John Smiths bitter this was very fizzy and a really bad drink.
The pub seemed friendly enough and there were a few locals having a drink on my visit.
The pub was up for sale when i went in it so it may have only been a short time before it closed down.
The pub has now been pulled down.
