In 2011, before I embarked upon a pub crawl of St Leonards, I did some research of the area and found Cafe Relax. I was under the impression that it was a bar so I thought I would add it to the site before my upcoming visit. Unfortunately due to time constraints I didn’t actually get to visit.

Fast forward four years and I find myself at Half Man Half Burger, which is a restaurant a few doors along from Cafe Relax. Whilst in close proximity I thought it would be criminal not to investigate. I discovered that Cafe Relax is a vegetarian Armenian cafe/restaurant that also masquerades as a bar. I’m sure that it is nice having a few drinks after a meal, but I’m not sure many would go just for a few bottles of beer. It is also possible to drink beer, wine and spirits in Half Man Half Burger, but I will not be adding HMHB to this site.

In hindsight it was a mistake to add Cafe Relax to Pubs Galore, but now that someone has taken the effort to photograph both the exterior and interior I will not ask for it to be deleted.
