A large locals bar with lovely views across the river to the bridge. Not really a huge amount of charm inside, it’s a fairly functional space dominated by a centrally-located pool table and sports screens (darts also features, as does live music). Quite dimly-lit on our early evening visit, not in the atmospheric sense. The long bar has no real ale but several bottles from Isle of Skye and Cuillin are available. Outside, there is a fair-sized patio with nice views and really it's all about the view - if you can grab a window or garden seat with a bottle of the local ale, it's well-worth it. Otherwise, it’s essentially just a local’s outlet.
