A strange building with a number of haphazard extensions stuck on at inappropriate angles. Notes on this are a bit unclear as it was the last and unplanned pub of the day. There were at least three ales on, with a decent choice (I think mine was a Hop Back) in fair shape all round. We went and sat at the rear of the pub which overlooks the canal and has some nice trees, which made for a pleasant pint on a sunny day. A games room (pool, darts, cards, chess) was advertised. We noticed that a temporary bar serving keg was set up outside the entrance, presumably to take advantage of the sunny front terrace. Live music nights were advertised, including jazz.

Close to Chichester BR and certainly seems worth checking out, I recall we left fairly happy as we weren’t expecting a huge amount initially. I’d try this again.
