The Marquiss of Waterford was a smallish pub that was on a back street just off alfreton road.
There were a couple of rooms inside but we only went in the bar which was always busy with people playing darts,this pub was a Whitbread tied house but there were no real ales on here the only bitter was keg Trophey.
This was a fairly basic pub but it was friendly enough.
Sadly this pub was pulled down in the late 80s probably 1989 and there is nothing on its site to this day,what a waste.
