Decent pub with a wide choice of beers. We tried 3 of their own brews and they were OK. Very friendly service. I would call again.

Have to say I rather enjoyed this place. The house brew, Sadhu Singh, was rather nice, wth a pleasant toffee flavour. I could have downed several pints of this. I also enjoyed the Sadler's Peaky Blinder and Mellow Yellow. Also on but untried was London Pride, which could, and should be replaced with a local brew and Purity UBU. Mrs Staal and I had half a chicken and chips with gravy and an idiosyncratic serving of coleslaw. This was very nice. Its a modern bar which serves gin and cocktails too. Like I said, I liked the place and would try it again. Good luck to the owners.

Leamington's latest opening and the town's first brewpub in a large corner building in the curry strip. It's done out in a craft/gastro style: bright lights, loud music, faecal pastel colour scheme, a mish-mash of furniture providing lots of types of equally uncomfortable seating from high perches to saggy sofas. It appears to be aiming at the the young professional end of the market who've grown out of the student oriented bars in Warwick St. There's an impressive selection of gins and whiskies, and the menu is on-trend grill stuff, complete with burgers impossible to eat in any dignified manner. It will appeal to beer drinkers, the house beer is unsurprisingly called Fizzy Moon and is rather bland, there's also a home-brewed IPA. Also available are examples from Hook Norton, Warwickshire and for some reason London Pride.

It need some to be down but is well worth a look. A fine afternoon might be the best bet when the large terrace may appeal more than the designer interior.
