I’m not in the habit of reviewing pubs that I haven’t had a pint in, but I’ll make an exception in this case since it had been my intention to purchase a pint in here. The pub has something of a Greek influence, and this was at one time reflected in the food offering, although whether this is still the case I’m not sure.
It’s reasonably compact inside and the decor is quite unusual with lots of rough wood lending something of a jungle feel to the place. There is a mezzanine level at the rear of the pub, but other than that I was not in there long enough to notice anything else.
Unfortunately there were no draught drinks available at all. This surprised me, as I know they have definitely done draught cider in the past, although I don’t recall what else. Had they had a decent bottled cider we would have probably have stopped for one, but since the only option was Stella we swiftly departed. Unsurprisingly, there was not a single customer in there.
