Once upon a time this was The Nags Head. It's unrecogniseable now in its new guise. It's one large room with chequerboard patterned floor, lots of smart tables and chairs and a piano, which is played in the evenings so I'm told. There's a large patio at the front and one side which was a real suntrap last Thursday when we were here. Two handpumps on the bar serving GK IPA and Sharps Doombore. I had a pint of the Doombore, when we had a second round I had a Peroni, that should give you a clue as to how good the beer was. :-)) It's a nice place, but I'm informed that it can get stupidly busy on weekend evenings. We'll call back again if it's a sunny day, but wouldn't bother otherwise.
