Two hand pumps offering Wye Valley HPA and Butty Bach. Keg offering of Peroni, Madri, Pravha, Guinness, Aspall and Jute Session IPA from Salt.
Pleasant Vale of Glamorgan hostelry (they also have accommodation) that was oft visited in my younger years with my parents. There is a small amount of seating at the front on the main road. Inside then a bare boarded bar area with some regular tables and chairs and a couple of small church pew style benches. A dartboard sits on the bare brick wall to the right of the TV, switched off on my visit, sited above the log burner. To the immediate left of the entrance is the L shaped carpeted dining room, with tightly packed tables and chairs all laid for diners. Walls are original stone, curiously with another dartboard above a couple of dining tables. The bar servery is on the right-hand wall mid venue and is on a small, boarded skirt. The bar servery has a small hatch in the bar area but difficult to access owing to the standing space being directly behind one of the tables in that area. There is a small, paved seating area off the left-hand far end of the dining area and access to the car park at the side and further outdoor seating just beyond the far end of the small bar counter. A poppy soundtrack was playing on my visit to the small attendance of drinkers and diners present.
