The Botany Bay was built by kimberley brewery in 1988.
This was a smartish estate pub in the cotmanhey area of Ilkeston but not long after opening this pub attracted a rough crowd and went downhill over the years and was demolished about 6 years ago so this pub lasted less than 20 years.
