The New Inn has a small interior, surrounding a central fireplace. Most tables were taken up by diners on our Saturday lunchtime visit, whilst a group of elderly local men were sat outside.
Strangely there were no keg or cask ales. Only bottles were an option. Although they did have a few ales and ciders in the fridges.
The staff were accommodating and soon found us a table for drinks only. But the lack of any real ale or even keg beers was disappointing for a pub that is in the Good Beer Guide.
