When i visited this pub it was called the Ancient Druid which is a great name for a very basic pub.
Once inside there were two rooms,there was a fairly basic bar at the front and a lounge at the rear,this pub used to be a Kimberley tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Kimberley bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Kimberley mild.
I first visited this pub in 1980 and went in it on a few occasions since then,this is not a pub most people would go out of there way to visit like i did.
This pub is still open but has now changed its name to the Glass Pilla.
