Blackthorn _ left this review about Bundy's Bar & Lounge
This is a strange establishment. A notice outside proclaims that they serve the cheapest beer in Clifton, so it seemed sensible to check it out. On entering through the front door a sign directs you down an old staircase with the walls painted a rather vivid turquoise. On reaching the landing at the bottom you have to go through another nondescript door to get in to the bar.
Once in, it’s a totally different feel and whilst rather unusual has clearly been recently renovated. The bar counter is at one end and is a marble topped affair with a buttoned leather cladding. This end has got a reasonably cosy feel to it, with some velvet bench seating around the edge.
The rear half is more of a sports bar with a large pool table and a table football game. There’s a curious yellow and purple colour scheme on the walls depicting silhouetted figures dancing and drinking. It looks as though this area doubles up as a dance floor at times with a glitter ball and UV lights on the ceiling. Up a few steps at the rear is a small patio area with a selection of potted plants and murals on the walls.
The solitary beer on tap was keg Courage Best. Ciders were Blackthorn and Thatcher’s Gold.
