Dimitris is a Mediterranean meze and tapas restaurant and taverna so there is no problem popping in for just a drink. The bar is located on the left hand side and there is seating on the right. The restaurant is located separately in the rear, where I did not visit during my visit on Wednesday evening last week. Unsurprisingly, there is no cask ale but available on keg were Estrella, San Miguel, Carlsberg, Marston’s Shed Head, Angelo Poretti and Somersby Cider. I don’t think I would go in here by myself for a drink again, but I would visit for some food if in the area with the family.

Originally this was a restaurant with a separate bar, but they've now been broken through into one. The restaurant has muliple rooms on two floors and sells Mediterranean food. There is still a bar area though which has a few leaning places around the bar and they're happy for you to sit at the 6 or 7 tables in this room and just have a drink. There's no real ale of course, but the bar sells a selection of high end european lagers, plus for some reason draught Kirin Ichiban the Japanese beer. There's also a decent wine list by the glass. I had a pint of Estrella and the other half a red wine. It's a good, lively place to visit. We call in regularly on our way to The Knott or Choice in Castlefield.
