This Craft Union outlet is a large pub sideways on to the main road, quite close to the Wetherspoons, with car park in front. It's been made even bigger by putting the toilets upstairs, and it's a bit of a climb. (It's less steep via an alternative staircase from near the games room on the right.) No cask beers, and I went for a Jack Daniels. I don't mind Craft Union pubs - this one is smart, friendly and welcoming - as an alternative to other cheap brands, but it doesn't seem to want to compete on the cask beer offering next door, which is a shame.
