This is a nice little end-terrace pub that is in cream, with a scored surface, and blue paintwork. The upper story has a projecting bow window. The interior is spread over two floors. The main room is of course downstairs. It is a narrow single room with the serving bar at the back. The room has red and white walls, with a wood floor and white ceiling. The walls are a celebration of 60s actors and music, with some general prints. There is nice perimeter wooden seating, with sturdy wood tables and chairs. They do food here, but we didn't eat. I didnt notice a TV and the music was general and at a decent level. The upstairs room is set out more for dining and is decored in a similar way. The service here was really friendly, but sadly we were the only ones in. Beer; usual tap stuff with Cumbrian Langdale and Loweswater Gold on handpull, both of which were decent. I aimed for the GBG pub in town, but managed one other, this one - i am so pleased i popped in, i really enjoyed it.
