Cosy double fronted village pub almost with two rooms as much wall cutting has taken place. One of two pubs at the top of the hill. The angled counter is in the rear right corner with its two pulls and five solos of mostly lager. Seating is traditional banquettes at Britannia and other iron based tables. Traditional nick nack and bottle style decor with advertising mirrors. Old board and quarry tile floors but a dark grey paint job makes it a bit dark inside. A very nice Buxton beer was on alongside Wainwright and the landlord was a friendly chap, new in the pub but an old hand in the trade.

Alan times have changed since you called in its gone the other way to the Bulls Head tried to different hand pulls both cloudy sent one back then left the other one very quiet. When we move there it will have to alter or not much of our money spent in there But its chanced its name to Pub to Let SO IT MUST INPROVE

The Wheatsheaf is a small stone built pub that is in an elevated position in the old town area of Glossop.
Once inside the pub was fairly smart and very quiet on my visit,there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Greene King IPA.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
