Back street local with a mix of internal styles, mostly looks like a 1930s makeover of a Victorian pub. There are stained glass windows with Prince of Wales feathers and brewers Tudor half timbering, more modern refurbs have left tiles round the counter and renewed seating. Double fronted but opened out with a pool room and machine on the front right, then the main bar with the remnants of the front left room. Beyond the main bar is a back room with banquette seating.
The L shaped counter has a couple of unused hand pulls, due to hot weather it wasn’t being stocked, two quad T-bars with a lager selection, Guinness, cider and Mansfield Smooth a bit of a rarity these days, plus a Neck Oil solo. Screens and piped music are there for you, the clientele was a bit younger than in some pubs especially for mid-afternoon.

Yes now we have moved into Glossop made this our local live right across from it always have a good range of hand pulls on nice friendly pub well worth a visit

Called in on the 16th Jan looks like a good locals pub nice and friendly people had a pint of Burton bitter a bit warm most were drinking lager not put off will call back

The Prince of Wales is a nice looking pub that is on a side street just off high street east.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a nice room to have a drink in,this pub is a Marstons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Marstons bitter.
I quite liked this pub.
