A fairly standard largish bar, in an old building now divided into several strangely shaped areas where there used to be rooms. There’s a counter at the back towards the left but serving an unexciting bunch of national brands on a horseshoe including Clarkson’s lager and cider, a single pull has Wainwright but due to the heatwave they’re not bothering to keep it. Odd younger and not quite so young clientele but they like it, outdoor drinking area out back.

Called in Saturday the 9th November just reopened thaught i would give it another chance its gone from bad to worse

The Moon and Sixpence is an old corner pub that has now got a stupid name.
Once inside the pub had been opened out and had bare boards,there were no real ales on here with the only bitter being John Smiths smooth crap so i had a Guinness.
This was a very dissapointing pub to end my Glossop crawl in.
