A solid looking street corner local,it doesn't seem to be a hotel so the name is a mystery to me.It's a free house with an open plan interior in a modern style with a light wooden floor,a pool table to the rear and a back section near the small kitchen. The furniture is quite modern ,but there is a good fireplace in the rear section, while Sky Sports was on mute during my Thursday evening visit.A front section had a wood burner while there are a few bar stools by the handpumps and this is a cosy spot. The pub is dog friendly and the local lab has it's toys and bedding in a quiet spot.
The three ale choices were CW Bombardier,Robinsons Unicorn and a very decent Moorhouses Stray Dogs. The muzak was well chosen and I enjoyed a quiet pint,so the pub served it's purpose well.

The Baths is a small back street corner pub that is fairly close to the train station.
There were two rooms and i went in the lounge which was a decent cosy room to have a drink in.
The pub was signed Banks's free house outside and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Banks's bitter and this was a decent drink the other beers were Mansfield bitter and Boddingtons bitter.
