E TA left this review about Greyhound
A Georgian coaching inn tucked away just off the market place, the Greyhound is a Hall and Woodhouse pub which looks uninspiring but is actually quite pleasant normal inside. A single large bar contains a pool table, gaming machines and an eclectic collection of curioes dotted around the walls, but lacks any real atmoshpere. The decor and furniture are overdue a refurb, but it was nonetheless a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a decent pint. The clientele seem to be mainly from the North, judging by the accents. There were 2 ales on, both Badger, both in excellent condition, particularly the Best, which was perfect. There was also a decent collection of bottled ales on offer. Worth dropping in for a pint, especially at lunchtime, and should be included on a town crawl.
