Strongers . left this review about Dragon Bar
The Dragon Bar is directly opposite Shepherd Neame’s Hastings Arms, but location is the only thing these two places have in common as the prices in this bar are more suited to a more affluent crowd. There are no real ales and all of the draught products are of the premium type, thankfully except for the inclusion of Guinness which was pretty good. There is a half open kitchen at the rear of the bar and the food comes in at anything from £8 to £18 for a main meal. There is seating for smokers under an Awning at the front of this bar and most of the seating in the bar is at the front as the bar stretches along the right rear hand wall. There are some more chairs and sofas downstairs by the toilets, but I didn’t think that this was the best space to sit and have a beer. The gents toilet is very small and there is no actual toilet, but there is a door with ramp at the rear of the bar area that maybe used for number twos.
To be honest my wallet and I preferred the Hastings arms and I’m not really a Shepherd Neame fan.
