Now renamed "Secret Squirrel Club" and confirmed as a private members' (!) club so should remain shown as closed. The building is in a very poor state of repair, so it may soon close forever unless the owner does some remedial building work.

I’ve driven past the Three Squirrels many a time as I’ve trundled along the A249 and the derelict looking exterior has always led me to believe that it had ceased trading. I noticed a new ‘FOR SALE’ sign outside so I decided to investigate and it would seem that this venue has either closed down or it is a member’s lap dancing joint that is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights along with nights that host private events. Their website suggests that they are still trading, but membership for £10 a year is mentioned and patrons must be over twenty-five.
I’ve requested that this pub be marked as closed as I believe that it is and if it is not it can no longer be classed as a pub.

Now a pole-dancing club rather than a pub, I wouldn't recommend the beer or food but it's a friendly venue for those interested in meeting lively and lovely young ladies and owners Gary and Karen will always give you a friendly welcome. Has one of the best roaring open fires I've ever seen in a pub, expertly maintained by doorman Martin. The enormous beer garden is in need of attention but I guess few of the customers wish to sit outside (probably because of the road noise from the busy A249!)
I'll rate 6 as an average - as a pub 4, as entertainment 8.
