Strongers . left this review about The Musician

The Musician has banquette seating along the front windows adjacent to the entrance and opposite the serving counter that supports standard and premium keg and hand pumps that were drawing Weal Ales Brewery’s Plum Porter and Bass. To the right is some open plan seating where a handful of customers were sat in silence until Cher started chirping out of the jukebox, I must admit that I preferred the quiet. There are two dartboards, one on the right-hand wall and one the front. There’s a kitchen with a counter in the right rear corner where some pungent smells were emanating. I’d maybe consider popping back in if passing, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

The Musician is a decent sized corner pub that has got a curved frontage.
Once inside the bar is to the right, this room is curved the same as the outside, there was bench seating running around the outside walls with tables and chairs, the room was carpeted, there was a seperate larger room to the left which was out of use.
This is a rock pub and the music was blasting out but i do like this music, some of the locals were dancing in the middle of the room and playing air guitars.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Belhaven Black Scottish Stout which was a very nice drink, the other keg beers were GK IPA and Boddos.
This pub is'nt for the feint hearted,i would like to come back here again in the evening when it probably gets a bit wilder.
