Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Eagle
Looks like a basic sports-type bar, although it describes itself as a pub. Due to the roof pitch, the ceiling is high enough for four large decorative mirrors (featuring the eponymous bird of prey in various poses) above the counter. Apart from that, there is little in the way of decoration, with a smattering of semi-modern furniture of different types and two pool tables on a slightly raised area. No cask beer (although there are bottles of Doom Bar and Pedigree in the fridges), so I went for a quick John Smith's (£4.00).

I visited this weekend to see what changes had taken place and WOW! what a difference, complete refurb, new managers with an eye for detail, new furniture and comfy sofas and the biggest screens showing live sport. Real ale, lager and cream flow beers all at £2.99 per pint!! This is truly brilliant and I will be revisiting very soon (Friday 29th August) live music night. See you there.

Steve of N21 left this review about The Eagle Tavern
This is advertised as a modern estate pub in the Eagleston local centre. The fact that Eagleston local centre is made up of a cost cutter, a fish and chip shop and an indian takeaway will give you some guide to what the Eagle tavern is like.
Basically its more of a social club with a large plain open area, a second section with a pool table and a bar with the usual keg fizz taps.
Frankly I see no point to go here, unless you live on the Eagleston Estate and don't own a car.
