A little stone built village pub with an emphasis on food, for which booking is strongly recommended. Drinkers are catered for in the cosy front bar, which is decorated with many jugs hanging from the beams. The larger back area has been modernised into a tidy restaurant, with a small garden beyond. Ales on were Anarchy Blonde Star, Hadrian Northumberland Gold and TT Landlord; condition fine. A beer and music festival is held in July.
