Graham Coombs left this review about The Blink Bonny
Once upon a time this was a small inn serving the adjacent (long closed) railway station. Now it hangs on as an old school pub which has seen better days. One main bar, which has odd features from various decades, and a fairly recent conservatory extension presumably added as a dining area although not obviously in use. Various bits of brasswork and other tutt abound and it looks as though there is another bar upstairs, with occasional live music advertised, and possibly a pool room round the back somewhere. Sadly the two handpumps seem to have been out of use for a while, with keg Black Sheep and John Smiths Smooth the bitter options. The locals seemed happy enough though, so I hope it survives a little longer. Incidentally it is named after an LNER steam loco, itself named after a racehorse.
