ROB Camra left this review about Dice Lounge
A rather pretentious lounge bar with a cordoned off area at one end claiming to be a VIP area. Yeah right! It thinks it's in central Manchester not Levenshulme. It's all very smart and some of the people in here really didn't fit their aspirational clientele. That's when I realised it was some kind of happy hour. There is no real ale of course, so I asked for a half of Grolsch which would have been £2.20, but was told that a pint was only £3. Needless to say I had a pint. I'm not at all sure that this place is going to work in Levenshulme and I doubt that the locals withh pay their prices outside the happy hour. Given that it's near the station which is only 2 stops from central Manchester I suspect most of the people they're aiming at would rather go there.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Railway Hotel
The Railway was on the corner of a busy road junction in the bussiest part of levenshulme.
This pub was a Whitbread tied house and once inside the pub was fairly basic and there were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Trophey bitter and this was a pretty poor drink.
This was the first pub to open and the start of my levenshulme and longsight crawl.
