Old Boots left this review about Cobbles Bar
A corner bar in a very narrow street which none the less is called New Street not new ginnel or some such. A slight alehouse vibe inside with wood and exposed brick, fake half timber and victorian style ceiling paper, cushions on casks as stools and random furniture. A single hand pump on the counter serving a very cold and very average Theakstons Best, the kegs were a bit mixed with solos of the usual and the odder, a quad T-bar hides behind a Lancia engine fixed to the counter. Screen, machine and piped music all present and correct. The lighting, computer controls / network distribution above the counter and a glitter ball suggest an evening visit would be loud and sweaty. Definitely unimpressive as a GBG entry.

Located in the pedestrianised section of the town centre. Enticing curved exterior and a tidy interior as well. Unusual in being GBG listed with a single cask, a very good Ossset (NBSS 4), so well done the local CAMRAs for picking quality over quantity. Amusement value from the local oddball who looked like Siouxsie Sioux fallen on hard times (the Herons Food bag was a magnificent touch). Downside was that the barman could have done with a smile. 6.5

This is a newish bar on one of the narrow pedestrianised streets in the middle of Louth.
Once inside here the pub was quite smart and comfortable with a decent atmosphere, the floor was of stone or tiles and this looked quite nice.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Fugglestone Pride of Preston and this was a very nice drink.
I thought this was quite a nice place to while away an afternoon.
