Old Boots left this review about Londesborough Arms Hotel
A large Georgian building housing an hotel, there’s a bar to the left which is keg only and a “real ale” bar to the right. The “real ale” bar was closed but the blackboard in the other bar listed craft keg and cask options available in there. The main bar has a mix of weird and wonderful keg taps as well as the usual suspects on a couple of quad T-bars. I ordered a keg from Kirkstall by mistake but the carbonation was low and the temperature the correct side of freezing, I could have ordered a weak cask beer from either Yorkshire Heart or Helmsley. There’s a magnificent bar back in the main bar plus a big screen, a bandit and a pool table. It’s nicely panelled, has a parquet floor and two decent fireplaces, these have a knotted snake motif which doesn’t appear on the Londesborough coat of arms on the front wall. The real ale bar has four pulls on a ceramic counter and a splendid mural on the ceiling, oh and a dart board. Between the two bars is another room with a pool table. Almost deserted on my Saturday lunchtime visit.
