On Monday evening the right hand bar at Spinners was packed with a local crowd having, what looked like, a party with loud music and raucous banter, especially for a Monday night! I decided to sit in the left hand bar with a pool table and dartboard for company. There are televisions located throughout for showing Sky Sports. Holts keg is available, no cask ale. Sign in window says closed on Tuesdays until further notice.

Next door to the Bird in Hand but not quite as good. That's not to say its a bad pub, it isn't. No real ale available. 2 roomed as noted though as it was a sunny day I sat on the benches out front.

Another neat pub. Two rooms with a lounge to the right and a tap room to the left with a pool table, dartboard and a huge TV screen which was showing sport. There are two handpumps, but sadly no real ale available. The barman said that the landlord wants to try selling real ale and used to run a pub with real ale, so who knows, maybe soon. I had to have a half of fizz though. It's a nice pub, let down by the lack of anything I wanted to drink.

The Spinners Arms is situated on liverpool road in an area that is quite pubby.
The pub had a fake looking black and white frontage when we visited it,on our first visit to this pub it was a Tetley tied house with a decent drink of Tetley bitter and mild on the bar.
By the time i got round to taking a photo of this pub it was being run by Burtonwood brewery.
The inside was decent enough with a lounge type bar that was comfortable enough.
We visited all pubs in this area of Eccles, this pub was a bit below par at the time of our visit compared to other pubs.
