1960’s shopping precinct flat roofer. Bar in an opened-out room (apparently there’s also a lounge and function room but I guess these were closed when I visited) with the pool table being the centre of proceedings. Grey paint. No cask, a simple keg battery. My Guinness was decent. Cobs available. Someone has put a decal of the old Royal Mail stamp of WG Grace on the door which was unexpected. Got a friendly goodbye, so not all bad. 4.5
