Nice curved 1930s building. Inside has been modernised but retains two bars; left side is the non-sport room and felt a bit gloomy on a rainy day. Right side had the England game and it encompasses the building's curve and felt like a better place to sit. Five cask (three clipped in the left room and all present on the right); TTL, Adnams Broadside, Dark Star APA, Purity Goose and Oakham Citra (NBSS 3) served by a polite barmaid. Also a Lilleys cider. Busy place and GBG 26 listed. 6.5
