Alan Winfield left this review about Gregorys Bar
This pub was built when the very large Asda store was built, after years of being called Gregorys the pub is now called Bank what a crap name.
Once inside there is one large room with an area near the front with normal tables and chairs the bar is on a larger raised area, the bar is in the middle of this area and is hexaganal in shape, the seating in this area is american diner type seating with small tvs to watch crappy adverts.
The whole pub is decorated in a purple colour and was very dimly lite,i found the place to be very depressing with it being so nice outside, there was also some very annoying music playing which was being played ouside aswell.
There is an indian restaurant next door and the decor in the pub resembled one of these.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hobgoblin which was decent enough the other beer was GK IPA.
I decided to sit outside as the inside was so depressing and i found the outside to be not a lot better.
I am usually easily pleased with any pub i visit but this pub was very poor in my opinion.

This pub has now had an extensive refurb and vastly improved, gone are the days of a cheesy DJ doing a Karoke, now known as The Bank, with the function room being also refurbed into an Indian Resturant Mamas Masala Kitchen. For events and more information refer to website below.
