Dont let the GK insignia put you off,there is a reasonable ale selection here.There interior is a single carpeted lounge with a large fireplace to the right and most seating to the left of the bar,with a lower level with dining tables.The main emphasis is on food ,with freshly prepared pub food with mains around £8 and it's popular ,booking on Sunday advised.Besides GK IPA and Abbott,there are three further handpumps with two guests on my visit namely Roosters GCB (Good Cheer Beer)and BrewDog Trashy Blonde served by a very untrashy blonde barmaid.There are large picture windows to the main seating area giving lots of natutral light,and there are numerous bar stool so that drinking without dining is encouraged.Modest musak not entirely necessary but I would happily return to this respectable pub.
