A two-roomed village local - the front room has a pool table to one side and plenty of tables and chairs. The back room has a window overlooking the valley and a few benches on the edge of the car park. There were two real ales available: Marstons Pedigree and local Bradfield Farmers Blonde. Beer was around the £3 per pint mark, which is quite pricey for the locality. The atmosphere was friendly but the bar maid was new and was doing her best with very little training or supervision. The beer was OK but I wouldn't make a special trip to come back here, unless repeating the Bradfield 61/62 Bus pub crawl.
