Will Larter left this review about The Schooner

Situated just behind the Harbour Inn, so slightly hidden from a lot of passers by. It's an interesting pub outside and in. Externally it's got features that suggest the 1930s. Inside there's a long central bar counter between two rooms. The counter in the front room looks original, though the wood panelling has been painted turquoise. The foot rail is wrought iron , by the looks of it. Two hand pumps with a slightly disappointing offering of two low alcohol beers: Hophead and Golden Best. I went for the Timothy Taylor option, which was a little too cold but otherwise ok, and just £4.80/pint.
