Old Boots left this review about The High Flyer
A cafe bar that’s more cafe than bar, entering from the street there is a counter in front of you with a T-Bar and three handpumps. A choice of Hophead, a better than average Tribute and Adnams Southwold with the clip reversed. Guinness, cider and lager on the kegs. Nicely furnished in white wood furniture and decorated in very pale blue woodwork. Flag floor and the only wall decoration is a number of blackboards advertising their wares, and the odd framed poster. There’s a restaurant at the back in pale tongue & groove decorated with framed adverts and such, there’s also a dining area at the side presided over by Laurel & Hardy. Actually very nice but not very pubby.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about High Flyer
Traditional frontage housing the main bar and a slightly raised seating area to one side. Rear dining area housed in a large modern extension. Mixed furniture and decor styles. Patio area at one side. Disappointly for a Charles Wells house (albeit one managed by the Orchid Group), only Eagle IPA (£2.95 less 20p Camra discount) was available from the three handpumps. (NB - Review dates from August 2012.)
