Styled as a country pub and restaurant, it does what it says on the can. The front, and larger area is casually set for food whilst the rear bit that although open and walk through is slightly detached from the front and is every bit a rustic traditional pub. Three small high tables are located near the bar with other seating, including sofas beyond, aged oak beams and piers abound. Three handpumps on the bar with two on, Triple fff Altons Pride and Windsor & Eton Windsor Knot.
The kind of place for a family meal or stop for a pint if walking nearby in the countryside, not a destination otherwise.
