A rough and ready exterior leads to a bright and stark interior more given to a club than a pub. No real ale - the closest you'll get is Guinness. I asked for a half, but much faffing about looking for a half glass allowed me to plump for a bottle of Kenya's finest - Tusker lager. Stark leather-clad chairs and small hard-wooded tables sit atop a laminate-floored area and the walls are painted in a dark purple and grey theme. A raised area to the right of the entrance-facing bar contains more tables and chairs. A pool table is located to the left of the bar in front of a large screen pumping out 'Smashhits Leaders of Pop' (whatever they may be) which then segued into the 'UK Hot List': music ain't what it used to be folks. Friendly enough staff and service, but by no means a destination venue. Avoid.
