Reopened after a three week refurbishment and according to one of the staff it has completely changed, and I can smell the newness. Two sets of hand pumps in pairs, with Hobgoblin Ruby and Marstons Pedigree. The barman asked if I was a CAMRA member (I can't see the discount on any posters) and my half of Pedigree was £2.29, which is not cheap, but the beer itself is in very good nick, which it should be on the first day of being open. (NBSS 4, £5.20/pint before discount of 10%.) Not my sort of pub, as I told the manager when she asked me what I thought of it, but worth a look in for the beer.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Jonty Farmer
New-build Marston's family pub restaurant with a large dining area at the back and a smaller general seating / pool zone along one side, with anonymous semi-modern furniture and decoration in all parts. Also has patio beer gardens at the front and far side (with the latter having a children's play area). Duplicated selection of Pedigree, Hobgoblins - original and Gold (£3.70) - and Wainwright from the bank of four handpumps on each part of the counter.
