It's been a long time since I've been in a pub that has so many people that you don't want to drink with in it. The left hand room was dire, the right hand one was slightly better. Shabby and tired walls, floors, ceiling etc. No real ale of course, so I had a quick half of something cold. Truly dire.

The Oddfellows Arms is a back street pub that is just off the busy ashton old road.
The corner door to this pub was not in use so the main entrance was at the side of the pub, once inside the pub was bigger than it looked from the outside there was a decent looking lounge and a more basic bar i had a drink in the bar and i found this room to be quite comfortable.
This pub was a Boddingtons tied house when i visited it and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Boddingtons mild and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
I thought this was a fairly decent pub.
