Walking into the King William there is wood flooring throughout, and to the right of the entrance is a small room that houses some seating and a burner. Behind this is an alcove with high tables where the ten or so locals had all congregated during a recent Monday evening visit. The bar counter along the rear wall to the left faces seating that runs under the front windows. Some steps to the left of the counter lead up to a long table with bench seating that runs along the left-hand wall. This area is separated from the bar by the steps and a double sided chimney breast with log burner. A radio station was playing in the background, to be honest it was more adverts than songs. Two of the three hand pumps were in operation drawing Robinson’s Unicorn and a decent pint of Dizzy Blonde. The barmaid was very friendly and the locals all seemed harmless enough putting this pub clearly in the decent local category.

A pretty nice traditional pub serving Robinson's beers. 3 handpumps but only 2 on dispensing Wizard and Unicorn today. Its a multi-roomed pub with wooden beamed ceilings and, though gas, welcoming fires in a couple.

The King William is just to the north of the main shopping area of Wilmslow.
Once inside this was a proper pub that was fairly smart and comfortable, this pub is a Robinsons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Robinsons mild.
This was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
