One of several units along this stretch with decking and seating out front and then a thin inside space, although Strange Brew is a lot longer than the others I visited. There are two sections, a front bar area with angled serving counter in the left rear corner that overlooks some seating and a rear seating area with stools and a beer shelf down the left wall and partitioned thin high tables down the right. I thought the rear section was a little odd so I stayed in the front. The bar supports four handpumps, one of which was unused during a recent midweek evening visit. Blackjack Brewing’s West Coast Pale Ale, Redwillow’s Head Less and Black Iris Brewery’s Bajan Breakfast were the cask ale options. There is also a premium and craft keg range available from the amiable barman. No televisions, but there was some back music playing, nothing I’ve ever heard before. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here again, but would pop back in if passing.

A small looking pub but it stretches back. There are now 4 handpumps on the bar with interesting ales on. I had a Tiny Rebel Perle Stout(?). Its an ok place but not great.

There's a very small frontage to this bar but it goes back a long way. There are loads of weird things behind the bar and all around the walls. The background music was at a sensible volume and there was a very eclectic range of music being played. There are 3 handpumps on the bar which were serving two from First Chop and one from Magic Rock on my visit. I had a pint of First Chop TEA which was in excellent condition. Friendly bar staff and punters make this a great little bar to visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would have stayed longer if the rest of the crawl hadn't been calling to me. A bar that I will certainly visit again next time I'm in Chorlton.
