More of an eating establishment than a proper pub. However, the food was of a good quality, if a bit pricey. Two real ales on handpull, both seemed well kept and went down well!

The Wolfe Inn is an old stone pub situated halfway between Haverfordwest and Fishguard and is a decent enough stop when en route to the ferry or if staying in the local vicinity of Wolfscastle. This is a B&B pub and the original smallish main stone building has been made larger by the addition of a second room to the back and a conservatory to the side, both of which are set for dining. The front of the bar is retained as a drinking area and has a large flat screen tele on the far wall to the entrance door.
However this is very much a food led pub and there is a decent lunch and evening menu to provide for both their own B&B customers and to attract those staying in other accommodation in the area and we utilised it as a change from the hotel up the road.
This was a comfortable pub with decent food, but like a lot of places that major on food the beer was a big disappointment. And although it’s a Brains house with Brains Bitter and Reverend James, both of these were served so cold that you couldn’t taste any flavour especially the Reverend James, that was killed to such a level that you might as well have been drinking anything.
